01 - Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
02 - Wash asparagus spears and trim the tough woody ends from the bottom.
03 - Combine asparagus, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper in a large bowl. Toss until evenly coated.
04 - Divide seasoned asparagus into 8 equal bundles, using approximately 3–4 spears per bundle.
05 - Wrap each asparagus bundle with a slice of bacon, spiraling from the base to the tip. Place bundles seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
06 - Bake for 18–20 minutes until bacon is crispy and asparagus is tender-crisp.
07 - For extra crispy bacon, broil for an additional 1–2 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.
08 - Transfer bundles to a serving platter using tongs. Serve immediately while hot.
